MALLARANGENG VS DINA: INDONESIA PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE FOR 2029

GTI-Maria Corina Machado (Veneuzela), Volodymyr Zelenskyy (Ukraine), and Reza Pahlavi (Iran) are Israeli-US assets whose function is to take over these three countries entirely for Israel. Tragically, in Indonesia, the name Mallarangeng has emerged, a figure whose narrative aligns with Trump and Netanyahu. Is Mallarangeng trying to woo Trump and Netanyahu to help them gain an advantage in competing with Prabowo for the Indonesian presidency in 2029? It could be wrong. Let's see if the data points in that direction.

Amidst Israel's failed color revolution in Iran and Maduro's kidnapping in Venezuela, a lighthearted debate occurred on TV One on January 14, 2026. The Indonesian news-based TV station featured Rizal Mallarangeng (a liberal, pro-Trump figure) and Dina Sulaiman (a pro-Palestinian geopolitical observer).

TV One summarized the theme of its talk show, "Venezuela-Iran":

"US President Donald Trump threatened to attack Iran if it began killing protesters. Trump's threat came amid a wave of protests that have rocked Iran since last month due to worsening economic conditions. Trump claimed to have warned Iran and did not hesitate to issue threats to Iranian authorities. The protests began on December 28 in Tehran's Grand Bazaar, the capital's business hub. The protests were sparked by the plummeting value of the Iranian rial and worsening economic conditions. The rial recently dropped past 1,350,000 per US dollar, sparking demonstrations that then spread to several other cities."

TV One acknowledged that there was a direct link between President Trump's statements and the protesters in Iran. He even gave direct instructions to occupy Iranian government offices.

During the 12 minutes and 11 seconds of the debate, Mallarangeng amplified and supported Trump's statement that he would help the protesters in Iran, even with military action. Malarangeng doesn't believe the US or Israel will actually launch a military attack.

Mallarangeng supports the idea that Trump's intervention will benefit Iran's economic progress. He blames Iran's economic downturn on its adherence to theocracy, which conflates religion and politics, and the Iranian regime's suppression of freedoms.

He generalizes Iran's economic downturn as the same as Venezuela, Cuba, and other Latin American countries because they don't adhere to Western liberal democracy. He even dismisses the "economic downturn demonstrations" as having nothing to do with the US or Israel.

Even without any data, Mallarangeng considers Iran and Venezuela and Cuba to be failed states without evidence. He blames dictatorship as the cause.

Malarangeng's narrative is so vulgar, without any data, that he supports Trump as the party who will help Iran. He doesn't acknowledge that the aid is a regime change operation (Israel's color revolution).

Meanwhile, Dina denies that Iran is far from a failed state. Iran ranks 75th on the Human Development Index (HDI), while Indonesia ranks 110th. These are measured by a long and healthy life, being knowledgeable, and having a decent standard of living.

Trump practices "geopolitical real estate" diplomacy, claiming other countries' wealth as assets that can be seized through military intervention. Trump no longer considers ownership of other countries' wealth as a legitimate sovereign right of the nation and state.

According to Dina, Iran's economic downturn is due to sanctions and embargoes, which hinder and prohibit other countries from doing business with Iran. Iran is being sanctioned by the US for supporting Palestine, even with weapons. The US intends to attack Iran militarily, also to fulfill Netanyahu's wishes. However, Mallarangeng ignores Iran's economic ties due to its support for Palestine.

While evidence of the Netanyahu-Trump genocide against the people of Gaza is readily available, Malarangeng still views Trump as the president representing a superpower, the economic savior of other anti-colonial nations.

The Mallarangeng Phenomenon

How do we view the Malarangeng phenomenon? Mallarangeng is the son of Andi Asny, the grandson of La Temmu Page Arung Labuaja, the last Bugis leader and warlord who resisted Dutch colonialism. How could his anti-colonial heritage have been lost without a trace? Malarangeng openly supports Trump, even though his two years with Netanyahu have genocided 500,000 Gazans.

Mallarangeng doesn't dare call "Trump and Netanyahu" dictators, but he does call the leaders of Iran and Latin American countries dictators. Khamenei and Maduro have condemned the "dictatorship" of Trump and Netanyahu, who have committed genocide and carried out colonial projects.

Figures like Mallarangeng in Indonesia are international assets everywhere—he served as a public relations officer for the US Department of State. He received a Fulbright scholarship and majored in political science at Ohio State University. He held elite positions, writing scripts for President Megawati Sukarnoputri, and served as a special staff member for the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs (2004), Aburizal Bakrie. He served on the Golkar Party's Central Leadership Council (DPP) during the Bakrie and Airlangga Hartarto administrations.

However, it seems that towards the end of Mallarangeng's career, he was willing to offer himself as a "US-Israel-fostered opposition." He was like Maria Corina Machado (Venezuela), Volodymyr Zelenskyy (Ukraine), and Reza Pahlavi (Iran), among others.

Rizal Mallarangeng, a son of Makassar, Indonesia, studied in the superpower USA, but as a result, he became inferior to the US and Israel, refusing to acknowledge that Iranian missiles (a non-aligned country) could penetrate Tel Aviv's four-layered air defense system. Strangely, despite Trump and the Israeli public's recognition of Iran's military prowess.

Mallarangeng is a typical figure who has lost his nationalist identity and Pancasila. He worships Yuval Noah Harari, the nihilistic thinker who advocated nuclear bombing Gaza. He adores Machiavelli, considering the fact of military power more important than international law and the strength of Pancasila values.

Succumbing to the Trump-Netanyahu empire, which is about to collapse, Mallarangeng remains confident in the illusion of the "American Dream," a system of human rights and liberal economic-political democracy that will lead the world until the end of time.

Mallarangeng may also be dreaming that Trump and Netanyahu will help him become president of the Republic of Indonesia in 2029, competing against Prabowo. But Mallarangeng could be an Indonesian presidential candidate, provided he follows the same stance as Maria Corina Machado (Venezuela): opening the Venezuelan embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, and collaborating with Israel's Likud Party to strengthen security ties.
