Presenting the topic “The Future of West Asia, Resistance Groups, and Palestine”. Present as speakers were Dr. Zaenah Al Saffar (researcher on the Islamic world (West Asia) and Multipolar) and Ir. Mujtahid Hashem (observer and researcher of NATO-Middle East and Axis of Resistance (Islamic Resistance Group) military). Mc. Lola and moderator, Ayu. Zaenab explained, what is called West Asia, is the result of a historical and geographical journey in the West Asia region that produced great civilizations up to the contemporary era. Among them, the New Assyrian Empire, the New Babylonian Empire, the Achaemenid Empire, the Seleucid Empire, the Parthian Empire, the Sasanian Empire, the Eastern Roman Empire, the Umayyad Caliphate, the Abbasid Caliphate, the Safavid Dynasty, the Afsharid Dynasty and the Ottoman Empire.

Geographically, modern West Asia, located along 6,255,160 km2, with a population of 313,428,000, is located in the south of Eastern Europe and close to North Africa. This region is surrounded by seven major seas; the Aegean Sea, the Black Sea, the Caspian Sea, Persian Gulf, Arabian Sea, Red Sea, and Mediterranean Sea.

To the north, the region is bordered by Europe by the Greater Caucasus Mountains, to the southwest, it is bordered by Africa by the Suez Canal, while to the east, it borders Central Asia and South Asia. The Dasht-e Kavir and Dasht-e Lut deserts in eastern Iran naturally separate the region from the rest of Asia.

Modern West Asia consists of the countries; Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Israel, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Jordan, Iran, Iraq and Egypt. With the largest cities, including Istanbul, Tehran, Baghdad, and Riyadh. While Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iran Yemen have the largest populations.

Meanwhile, the so-called Axis of resistance, consists of the countries of Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran. A resistance group that has a specific goal in common, the liberation of Palestine, and in general has the same aspiration to liberate the West Asian region from Western hegemony and colonialism. Having the same ideology will forever be a friend of the oppressed and an enemy of the oppressors.

Zaenab believes that the axis of resistance will win the battle against Zionism-Israel. Since the military operation, the Palestinian independence group, October 7, 2023, the existence of Israel's military-security-political has wavered sharply. Along with the increasing tension of the US-European genocide project, Israel in Gaza-Palestine, for 9 months, the military achievements of the resistance group have increased sharply.
