For Iran, developing nuclear technology is a national necessity and a source of pride for Iranian scientists. Despite being pressured by sanctions from the USA, Iran, since the 1979 revolution, has consistently developed its nuclear energy for civilian purposes and is not subject to the wishes of the USA.
